I know it might be a far reach, but I would like to pick your brain over my current task that was assigned to me to determine next steps.

I need to spec. out an Electrical chain hoist, for a specific project. I have never worked with chain hoists in general, as this is my first full time engineering job.

Here is how I have approached this task:
  1. I have the Weightlifting requirement (3 Ton), Lifting Height (10ft) and beam it will be installed on (W8x31) & electrical requirements defined:
    1. Power requirement: 460-3-60
    2. Area Classification/Temperature Class:
      1. Suitable for Class 1 Div 2, Groups C&D, T3 Hazardous area, Nema 4 outdoor, IP55
  2. I've reached out to a few manufacturers, and I've received info from two of them giving me pricing and lead time which seem really high (Harrington and DavidRound), so I'm looking around for a 3rd option so I can talk to my manager about my three options and how to proceed.

I'm currently at a waiting point over vendor responses and wanted to check with anyone of knowledge on which manufacturer/supplier/vendor to direct me towards to find an Electrical Chain Hoist that complies with Class 1, Div.2 Groups C&D services.
