Hello,

I want to know if Pro Eng can simulate the heating of a piece that is crossed by an electrical current. And show me the temperature gradient of this piece in 3D.
Hope that my question is clear.

Thank you for your help,

Probably not.

Pro/Mechanica has thermal capabilities, but I don't think you can model heating due to electrical current. (I'm not a big Pro/E or Pro/M user these days so maybe the new versions have new capabilities that I don't know about?)

Chances are you need to use a more advanced analysis package with multiphysics capabilities like ANSYS or COMSOL.
