Hi everyone...

I would like to Know what is meant by cross country faults?
when and why it happens?

if you can supply me a specific example it will be greatfull...

Hi.
Cross country fault is usually responded to ungrounded or compensated grounded distribution network.
That means: one phase fault in one line ( for example A or R or L1) system is continue work, second fault in another bay in another phase, is phase to phase fault via earth happend.

Circuit to circuit faults. Circuits may be of the same or differing voltages, and same or different phase angles.
