Dear sir,
I search for a table (on web) that estimate electrode consumption for a given pipe size and given schedule (carbon steel). Here books are unavailable.
Thanks

It depends highly on the wlding procedure and the type of electrode you use. Also on the nature of the work you are performing. If you are just to weld pipes along to make a pipeline, the amount of weld metal can be calculated in each girth weld. Then you have to look at your electrode type, if you use high efficiency electrodes like E7018, their rate of deposit is higher than normal ones. As a rule of thumb, the pipelile welding is consuming between 10 to 25 kg of electrode per Ton of job. Hope this helps.

I you want to find electrode consumtion go see

On this page you will find download for demo of e-weld v2.2ML (Multi Lingual). This calulates electrode consumption for every type of joint, just input your circumference of the pipe as welding lenght....
Its very easy to use.... Work for 30 day fully functional.

Also estimate total cost etc...
