When materials do not fall under groupings in AWS what criteria is used in electrode selection for prequalification?

I don't believe there is any prequalification in this case. You would have to qualify the WPS including the filler metal.

I agree with Gerald, no prequalification is valid and you need to qualify PQRs for the unlisted material(S)
