Electron travel in ac supply conductor

Forgive the basic question please, but just how far might an electron travel from its original position in say a standard 6oHz HV ac transmission line?

Oops. I tried it and got a bunch of weird laser links. Better add keyword copper in there. You'll get a bunch of links like this



In that link they analyse the case 5A flows in a copper wire with a cross section of 0.5 mm2. Results in electron drift velocity 7.35 × 10-4 m/sec. Pretty slow.
