In a classified (CID1) area a project proposes to have a ESD system composed of a continuous bare ground conductor belted interior to the room's perimeter (i.e over door opening, etc). This conductor is intended to be the point-of-connection for mobile gasoline containers and will be supported on CMU walls say 48" above static control flooring. I'm looking for ideas and comments on a common attachment method for equipment that will be parked in changing locations.

As the conductor will be tight to the wall, the first thought was to have grounding tabs of some sort (clip angle bracket inserted beneath and bolted through separated strands) located 36" on/center. This would allow ground clamps to be used at these tab locations.

Does anyone have experience with this described or similar system or can someone offer another method of attachment? Your remarks are appreciated. gb_
