Hi,
I am modeling a crash analysis of a car and a wall with Abaqus 6.8-1. For the car I am using Johnson-Cook material model and Johnson-Cook damage. The mesh of the car is from beams and shells. For the wall I am using Concrete damaged plasticity model. The wall is modeled with solid elements. The analysis is complete and the results are ok, but only elements from the car are removed when totally damaged (element death). I can't make any element from the wall to disappear (crash area). Am I using the right material model for the concrete wall or do I have to use some other material model to get elements removed from the wall? Can anyone help me?
Thanks,
Alex
