I am looking for an effective method for elemental sulfur removal from water. I have no information about a form of sulfor, thus I assume both crystal and colloidal. I am considering multi-media filtration proceeded with coagulation.
Stream of water comes from dewatering of gas from Claus Unit going to Hydrosulfreen.
I wonder if such sulfur removal is possible and effective, what kind of coagulant is the best and what to do with resulted percipitate.

Jar testing
depending upon your budget, either get a Jar testing setup and test
or hire a local treatment equipment supplier to Jar test for you
you may need to adjust pH or other parameters depending upon other items in the water

Hydrae

Thanks,
However, For the time being, Jar testing is impossible because It is a design stem and It's not possible to get any samples of water.
Does anyone have any experience with implementation of multi-media filtration proceeded with coagulation for such purposes? If so, could anyone reccommend a potential suppliers of such systems?
