Hi,
We have noticed that parts machined with En36A experienced elongation (or bend) after heat treatment (case hardening), whereas the dimensional change with that machined with SAE8632 (or SNCM 220) is very little.
The part has a geometry of shaft.
We had even spectrometer analysis, showing the parts are within spec of EN36A.
Is it something we usually see that SAE 8632 gives better result?
