Does anyone have a pointer to app notes or papers which goes through the necessary requirements to put Chinese Japanese Korean fonts on a display. I am looking for a complete document which describes everything from the different dialects of each language, to the minimum number of characters required for each languge, down to the details such as required X by Y resolution in pixels.

While we can get a LCD graphics module with CJK fonts (1150 or 3000), we just dont know what need (ie why 1150 instead of 3000) or what we are giving up.
