Embossing textual parameters - Inventor 11

In the interest of embossing a version number on a library part, is it possible to get a text format user parameter inserted into the text string to be embossed?

The specific task at hand is to emboss the size and rating class on the rim of a pipe flange. The numerical parameter for the class is easy. The text for the nominal pipe size is being... difficult. (ie.: "1/2", "3/4", and "1" versus "0.50", "0.75", and "1.00".)
