I am design EMC filter part of the MFRC522 Antenna Circuit, in the AN1445 application note, i find the the below recommendation,

Can someone please explain what does it mean L0 = 390nH - 1uH
I am sorry if this is a dumm question

Yep.

Just a bit further down the same page is given an example where the L[sub]0[/sub] inductor was selected to be 560nH, leading to a convenient calculated value for the C[sub]0[/sub] capacitor of 220pF.

If you have time to await delivery, you can order MFRC522 RFID modules from eBay sellers for a couple of dollars, including some RFID tags (typically one card and one key-ring tag). They might provide a useful example.
