Hi

we have a control box supplying 3 phase to a motor/pump.

inside our box is inverter drive with EMC filter.

the ships inspector is saying that our box should have a copper strip around door seal,

the AB inverter has CE approval for EMC standards, and we have followed appropriate engineering practices for wiring,

can anyone shed any info on this apparent requirement for copper door strip ?
