Hi, are there any situations in the NFPA 101 (other than the exception in §42.2.8.2) or the California Fire Code where emergency power is not required the designated path of travel? For example, are there any warehouse conditions where emergency power is not required and a designated path would not have to be made, such as a small square footage exception? I am aware of the natural lighting and day operation hours exceptions, just wondering if there were other options. I heard if only 1 exit is required then that may be an exception. Any code references to back this up with?
Thanks!
