Hi,

i want to draw emergency plans for buildings of a gas turbine power plant (which is designed according NFPA and API). Since i´m from a non us-country, i don´t know which codes & standards i have to follow. The plans shall show the rescue way signage and fire protection measures eg. fire extinguishers. I don´t know if "emergency plan" is the correct term, so please correct me if neccessary. Where can i get the required emergency symbols... OSHA?

Thanks for your held in advance!

Given your design criteria, you should review and apply NFPA 101, Life Safety Code. For portable fire extinguishers, review NFPA 10. For emergency preparedness, requirements for the development of an evacuation plan will be found in NFPA 101 and NFPA 1.
