Hi everyone,

This is my first time dabbling in EN code and I'm a bit confused as to how to calculate the Nominal Design Stress (f).

The material I'm using is P355GH (EN-10028-2:2009). The Rp 0.2/T is 282 MPa (where T is 150 *C). Now, what do I need to do from here to calculate "f"? Do I divide my Rp 0.2/T by 1.5?

Thanks in advance

I figured it out.

For ferritic steels, f is MIN(Rp0.2/T / 1.5 , Rm/T / 2.4).
