EN954-1 to ISO13849-1 extension

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the upcoming change of the EN954-1 standard to the ISO13849-1 standard. I read an article stating that there will be a 3 year extention, and then another article stating there will NOT be a three year extention. Then another article said they will be meeting again in December to decide whether or not to have the extention, so it may change yet again.
