I'm looking for a way to enable fringing display in NX9. Could anyone suggest a way to do this?

By "fringing display" I assume that you're talking about when reviewing some sort of analysis result, correct? If so, what sort of analysis are you looking for?

Sorry for the lack of clarity. I'm honestly not sure the name of the operation, I was told by a manager to reproduce this operation:
It projects some lines onto the model.

Ah, you mean 'Reflections'. You can toggled them ON by going to...

Analysis -> Shape -> Reflections...

...and selecting the faces of the model that you wish to see the Reflection lines displayed on. Note there are several display options and the real value of this mode is to rotate the model around to see how smooth the Reflection lines look or how they transition from one face to another which shows the type of seam, whether it's sharp, tangent or curvature continuous. This tool is generally used to check the quality of the faces of a model and how light will reflect off the final part particularly if it's something that will plated and/or polished to mirror finish.

That is exactly what I was looking for, thank you very much!

Actually, do you know of a way to enable this on the entire model with NXOpen?

No, but you probably could create a Journal to do that.

I turned on reflection mode while recording a journal and it didn't seem to produce any code specific to that operation.

Sorry, the Reflections dialog is still based on an older style, which is NOT supported by Journalization. However, you should be able to create a macro to do the same thing.
