At the current moment I am busy with a research on electricity networks. Problems are arising in the capacitity demand and what can be distributed. I was thinking about energy storage with batteries (fuel cells?) which can be linked to the electric network. This can be charged when there is hardly any power demand and can be used during peak moments of demand. Does anybody have information if this already is in use? Technical data would be nice! Thanks in advance
