I was bench racing with a friend today and he told me of his new truck engine (4wd mud racing), something around 640 cid big block Chevy/Donovan running injected methanol.
He stated that the dyno showed a peak around 5500 rpm, tapered down, then re-peaked again around 7,000 rpm. I asked about exhaust temps on each exhaust port, but they were not avail. It almost feels like intake manifold tuning, but I have never experienced a 200 bhp surge like this before.

Ideas?

Larry;
Thanks for the info, I will pass it along. The dyno and engine building was done at a very reptuable shop in SA, Tex, so I assume they knew what they were doing. The owner of the truck is running it this weekend and will let me know how it does.
