Hi All,
Currently I am working on a construction estimate for a bioretention bmp systems. An aspect of a bioretention basin is the construction of a perimeter "retaining wall." I am using the BNI General Construction Cost Book to obtain cost data for said retaining wall. My question is if the installation cost detailed for each item in the book includes the labor cost. I would think that the installation cost would include the labor cost as well, but then the cost data book also has a section devoted solely to man-hours for most of the said construction items. To utilize the cost data book effectively do I use the total unit cost(materials and installation) and the expected man hours to develop a labor cost for each item?
Any help would be appreciated.
