Enlarging crawl space under existing house 1

Looking for any help I can get. Trying to find some kind of equipment to assist me in removing Red Clay base under my house. Need to enlarge crawl space to repair and update plumbing. Also want to insolate floor.

So much for political correctness. While I agree with techmaximus lets call them laborers. Their immigration status is probably a subject for a political message board.

How big is the crawlspace. This would dictate is there is any type of equipment you could get in there. Most likely you will need to do it by hand.

Another suggestion:

Many equipment rental firms have an electric converyor that can be rented for excavations like yours. It would be a big help in getting the soil out of the crawl space. You would still need a way of loading it out at the outside end of the conveyor.
