ENT/Smurf Tubing in Slabs

Hello all,
I'm currently working on a multi-family project with a podium PT slab and a parking PT slab underneath. The electrical contractor wants to use ENT/Smurf tubing in lieu of metallic conduit. How do you feel about using this type of conduit in slabs? The first issue that comes to mind is that the tubing could droop during/after the pour to the bottom of the slab and void that part of the slab if not properly secured. It also seems like it would be difficult to get the sub to keep the conduit in the middle 1/3. I would love to hear some perspective from people who have dealt with this before so I know what to look out for.

I've only seen non-metallic tubing embedded in slabs - never metallic.

Its almost never chaired independently in the middle third of the slab, but instead sitting above the bottom upper layer reinforcing.

Most common problems are not reading the structural dwgs for embedded conduit requirements, and as a result:

-not spacing out parallel runs,
-too many crossing each other at the same spot,
-not keeping it clear of high shear areas / supporting columns,
-tying it along a parallel reinforcing bar
-not fanning out at risers / junctions where there is large concentration of tubing

Sonofatkins,
Thanks for the reply, it's good to have another perspective on this.
