Enthalpy Wheel Bearing Problems

Has anyone heard of a chronic bearing problem pertaining to enthalpy wheels in, say, the past two years or so? I'm not mentioning a specific mfr at this point because I don't want to sling any mud that wasn't earned. We have 27 wheels varying in age from one to three years, and so far 12 appear to have developed bad bearings. And yes, I'm looking into overtightened belts, but it looks like that variable is going the other way.

I know this isn't much to go on. I'm just trying to find whether there has been a chronic problem anywhere else during this timeframe.

Please mention the manufacturer. I'd hope this forum is one of the few remaining outlets that do not compromise to appease for-profit entities.

I've seen difficulties in varying ways (for example, wheel warping with the unit sitting idle too long) with Innergytech and good results with Thermotech (TEI). I have no connection to either one. For these systems, the wheel weight is probably a much larger factor than belt tightness.

Any of these bearings will probably require periodic re-greasing. Have you done this? You might find that the wheel requires greasing more often than a typical bearing.
