Has anyone used Williams 150 ksi all thread rebar as the dowels into the existing concrete? Williams website shows to use the ultraboud adhesive for the dowel, and also suggests to use it for shear. My load is mainly the bending moment and shear (the dowels will be flexural tension), and the structure can be subject to water/ high moisture. Is Ultrabound epoxy applicable?
Their website also refers to ICC ER report #4996, but I could not find any ICC report for Williams.
Thanks.

There are a couple failure modes for an epoxy anchor:
- Steel failure
- Bond failure
- Concrete failure

It sounds like you want to use a 150ksi bar instead of the manufacturer's bar? What's the advantage? You`ll have problems with the bond/concrete long before you reach the steel limit state so you`re not gaining much by using a bar that strong.

Is ultrabound epoxy applicable? Regardless of the bar you're using, what does the manufacturer say about using ultrabound in a wet environment? What's the ICC report say? Neither of those questions is really impacted by the bar material.

nothing wrong with the 150ksi bars, they are recommended and supplied by Williams.

suggest you contact williams form for more information.

as far as wet conditions, I have used Hilti before for underwater use. I believe it was HIT RE 500 and I used stainless steel anchors since it was about 200 feet below water surface

I've done it, although as Once mentions, the application has to be pretty extreme to justify it.
