Equal triangles in dome surface 4

I post this here because domes featuring triangular grids are usually in steel.

Does anyone know of a text or website that will help me determine size of equilateral triangles to fit on the surface of a sphere? Some magic formula

Ancient greeks probably solved this one but not me.

Buckminster Fuller solved this problem with a few different sized triangles.
 
Already had found about geodesic and Buckminster fuller by googling around

But no cool website or book yet

IJR,

The best way to work out the solution is to look at the latitude and longitude system of earth. You can easily devide the earth into slices of latitudes and find out linear distance using 10th grade geometry. Similarly you can find out the distance between longitudes using a litte more maths.

IFRs is correct. All the 10th grade geometry in the world won't make it happen.
