equation command

I am going through the Advanced Design tutorial. When I come to the area where it says to use the Equations command I am having a problem. It says click Equations on the tools toolbar. In dialog box, click Add. I am not getting a dialog box & I can not close out of the command. Has anyone else had this problem?

post some screen shots of what you are seeing... I don't understand how you can't get out of hte command?

So, the Equations dialogue box opens, but the subsequent Add dialogue box doesn't? ... and then you can't select the OK button in the original Equations box?
