Equipment Foundation

I am designing a foundation that equipment goes onto. There are no columns or walls that it supports. The foundation recieves heavy static loading. Any suggetsions on formulas to analyze this type of foundation. In the past we used 3+ft foundations with both a top and bottom rebar mat.

Sounds to me like a Mat Foundation analysis is in order here.
