Hello,

I'm posting this in the Creo forum since I have found some CAD programs work better with certain devices than others. I would like this discussion to be kept specific to Creo/ProE where applicable.

Question 1. My preferred device for general computer use is a Kennsington SlimBlade track ball. Has anyone figured a decent way to use this with Creo?

Question 2. I am seeking advice for an ergonomic (45 degree?) programmable mouse. There are many out there, and many reviews online... again I'm looking for suggestions here from experienced Creo users.

Thank you,
Glenn

I've been using an Evoluent Vertical Mouse 4 with WF 4 and Creo 2 for years. I love it, the natural vertical hand position has completely eliminated my carpel tunnel pain. It has a nice driver that lets you assign whatever you want to the 6 buttons. I wore my first one out, the LMB started double clicking all on it's own. My second one now very occasionally does a double click on the back button. I'm living with it so far but I'll probably order #3 before too long. So I don't think the switches are as well made as say a Logitech but buying a new mouse every 2 or 3 years beats carpel tunnel surgery by a long shot.

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows.

I use the Evoluent as well, I think I'm on #3. Works well with Creo and has helped with the elbow pain I was getting from a standard mouse.
