erosion in an automatic recirculation valve

Hello All
Do you have any comment about erosion (impingement attack) in bypass orifice inside automatic recirculation valve? this phenomenon has been seen frequently in out BFW outlet.

thanks for your comment, yes boiler feed water it the material of bypass orifice is ss410 i can send you a picture of attack
 
I'm sure when I looked up the details of an ARC, it said one of the issues was that the back pressure on the re-circ line needed to be quite high to prevent this. Sounds like the back pressure is nt high enough to me
