Well, well a conversion error apparently found its way through the ASME reviewing process.
In note c, the SI calculation gives a d which is over 8.5 times higher than its us customary counterpart.
the right SI formula should be something like:
d=8.08[Dt(1-K)]^1/3
NOT
d=69.9[Dt(1-K)]^1/3
