Hi all,

When I install the driver for my space pilot pro I get a missing msvcp80.dll message when starting NX.

My graphics driver etc is all up to date. Any thoughts much appreciated.

I just checked and there are dozens of copies of this particular dll on my system, in all sorts of places, but none of them in folders where the 3DConnexion software is loaded and I have no problem using my SpacePilot Pro. Have you tried using a different Spaceball? When you loaded the driver was it specifically for the SpacePilot Pro?

I haven't tried using a different space ball, I did try a couple of other drivers but I get the same error every time :(

I'm running windows 7 64bit.

Very frustrating but thanks for looking.

You may need to contact GTAC and have them look at your configuration to make sure that you have all the necessary libraries (this was where I found many of the copies of that dll).

Just for the record, here are the 3DxWare specs on my system where I have the SpacePilot Pro attached:

Release Version: 3.11.3
(Driver version: 6.11.1)
Firmware Version: 4.10
Device Type: SpacePilot PRO

DISCLAIMER: There may be newer drivers out there since it's been awhile since I've done an update, but since I've had no problems, I haven't felt the need to.
