Good day!

Can someone please help me determine the Occupancy Group for an escalator situated within a mercantile store rectangular in shape? The escalator is situated at the far end and perpendicular to one of the smaller sides of the rectangle. The escalator is quite far from the (combustible)items being sold. Mercantile areas fall under Ordinary Hazard (Group 2). I can't find "stairways" under any category (Light, Ordinary, Extra). What is the safest assumption I could make so as to complete my design info? My initial decision is to consider at under Ordinary Hazard Group 2 where mercantile falls. I am just new to the mechanical design field. I hope someone among you out there could help me. Thanks
