ESDV valve material

Hi,

I need advice for most suitable material for ESDV butterfly valve. Valve size is 24", pressure class 300# and valve service is condensate but it will be flushed with seawater and freshwater. Valve also will be installed on the installation in a tropical marine environment.

What is the material of the Pump in this system?
What is the material of the Pipe?
What is the material of all the other valves in the system?
What Material is recommended for this fluid on the websites you have already searched?

Sometimes its possible to do all the right things and still get bad results

Have not seen an instance where a butterfly valve is used for ESD shutoff in a highly flammable service - should be a class IV or higher ball valve.
