Estimating the Life of Motor

We are using a 3phase asychronous motor, 380 V, 50 Hz, 2 pole having class F insulation. The ambient temperature of environment is 40C. How can i calculate the total expected life of motor. Does this life include both stationary and running conditions.

Winding insulation is rated for a average ten year life at maximum hot spot temperature. It is less since this is based on ideal conditions. I have never seen a "Sigma" stated.

Sealed, greased for life ball bearings have a very long life if loaded "Lightly" and do not get contaminated. Motors usually have over sized bearings. Once again, ideal conditions. As eemotor says, see bearing life calculators in any bearing catalog.
