Friends,

I need some help on Piping GA and Unit plot plan GA drawing quantity Estimating w.r.t drawing size (A0,A1,A2..)versus scale (1:500,1:200,1:33.33...)etc.

That is, How much area a particular scaled drawing can be accomadate for given drawing size.

Is there any such database available with anyone in the forum?

Thanks in advance for the repliles.

That is an almost impossible question to answer...
It depends on the complexity of the piping, whether the piping is in a tank farm vs pipe racks running through a congested plant, etc. What about electrical, instrumentation & utilities?
General arrangement drawings can be single line if the owner will allow. Double line drawings tend to reduce errors, and are more useful for planning in the future. Also remember that congested drawings will cause more errors in construction.
Be nice to the constructor, it pays in the end.
