Hi Sirs,

Is there a way to retrieve the seismic and wind forces automatically calculated by ETABS and how they are distributed vertically and horizontally throughout the structure? I prefer forces plotted in the model using arrows but if there is none, forces in table format will do. The purpose for this is so that I can verify that the seismic and wind forces generated by the program were applied correctly.

By the way, the version I am using is still ETABS 2016 version 16.2.1 Build 1727

Thanks! Any help is appreciated.

You can view forces in tabular format using Display > Show Tables (ctrl+T). In there you'll be able to search for the relevant loads you're after.

You can also display them visually by Display > Load Assigns.

Thanks Trenno! Display > Load Assigns > Joint is what I am looking for. So you can only see your generated forces when an analysis has already been run.
