Hi
In ETABS we can specify a list of sizes for concrete column design using autoselect option. If we do this ETABS will select the most economical section during design out of all the sizes we mentioned in autoselect option. ETABS by default limits the maximum percentage of steel in column reinforcement as 6% (which is based on indian code IS 456). But i need to limit the column reinforcement to 4% as this will avoid conjestion at junctions. Is there anyway to specify the maximum percentage of reinforcement in column design as 4%.
