Now that ETABS and SAFE can work together well, I switch between the two programs often. The current version of SAFE has a number of keyboard shortcuts defined, whereas ETABS has a very limited number.
I have found it quite useful to have customized keyboard shortcuts in ETABS that match those in SAFE. For instance, F2 is Zoom Window in both programs now, and F3 is Zoom All, etc. ETABS obviously has many features not found in SAFE, which may deserve their own shortcuts. The Move Up/Move Down in List buttons for switching between plan or elevation views have been assigned to the Page Up/Page Down keys.
