Hi everyone, i just start to generate my Etabs model, but when i draw the horizontal frame, the local axis-1 of the frame is point at different way, even i draw it from the global X and Y. as shown the attachment. However, in Etabs manuel, it said that "Local axis 1 is along the line object. The projection of the positive local 1 axis onto the global X-axis is in the same direction as the positive global X-axis. If the line object is parallel to the global Y-axis such that there is no projection onto the global X-axis, the positive direction of the local 1 axis is the same as the direction of the positive global Y-axis.".

So it seems not the same as what the manuel said. and my question is how to make the local axis 1 into the same direction, if not, it will be inconvenient in watching the moment diagram result on screen, i.e. at support, the moment diagram will have a jump on screen.

thank you!
