does any one have an idea what kind of safety procedure should be considered when stating up/ shutting down an ethanol plant? I'm looking for a brief idea about safety measures for example one of the ideas I thought of was floding the pipes with N2 prior to starting up to vent the air out of the pipes. we are thinking of producing ethanol from ethylene water reaction
