Hello!

I am trying to summirise the fatigue calculation steps for a joint based on Eurocode. As EC 1993.1.9 for steels says that with nominal stresses for the given Detail categories (FATCLASS-es?) one can make the calculation.
How could one calculate a stress concentration factor for complex joint, which gets a varying load (magnitude and direction)?

The same issue i have with EC 1999.1.3 for aluminium, as there already for the Detail category with a hole, the norm says that one should calculate with stress concentration factor. But nothing is given for rivet or bolted connections.
What would be the approach for a bolted connection of a complex joint as written above but with aluminium beams?
