Hi Experts
I have some confusion about the design of steel elements using EC3. specifically, about the Bending and shear check when the shear force is bigger than half of the shear resistance (Ved >= 0.5VplRd).
Here I attached the Bending and shear check as written in Eurocode 3. Also, I have created an example to see if the steps are correct or I misunderstood the right meaning.
Could you please give me some explanation and correct me if I misunderstood the code..
