Hi, I am new to this forum and hope that I am in the correct forum.

I am in Australia and my company imports equipment from Italy. In recent months I have noticed much of the electronic equipment we recieve has crimped wire terminators on various types of refrigeration controllers that we use.

I am led to believe that the this crimping of the wire terminator is a European requirement so that bare wires are not inserted into the controller and then a grub screw is used to secure the wire in place.

If this is the case, can I please be directed to where I can get more information about this requirment.

It causing issues with my refrigeration mechanics as they waist too much time trying to get the wire out of the connector when replacing controllers. Basically, this wire terminator gets caught behind the grub screw and is a rather annoying issue.

If this is a european requirement that can be variefied, then i can issue some work instructions wih the controller replacments that go out.

I hope that somebody can goive me some direction with this.

Thanks in advance for your help.
