I need to identify a cut/section plane and measuring field/s in a technical drawing for the inspection of internal porosity of an aluminum casting (destructive examination).
I've checked ISO, VDA, BDG, NADCA, etc., but none give an example of how this should be noted on technical drawings. Of course, I could just come up with my own notation, but I'd rather use something that follows a standard or best practice.
Can anyone share an example?
