excel and formatting a cell for ft & Inches

ok im setting up a cutlist to use inconjunction with autocad to generate cutlists but i cannot get excel to calculate total lengths by multiplying known length by amount of that length to get total linear length so i can calculate how much it would cost for the total amout of that product

if anyone can help it would be greatly appreaciated... if everyone helps everybody the world will be a better place
