Excel BOM Help 1

Guys,
Is there a way to edit an SW generated excel BOM single cell to show text only? I try to insert text and save, but keeps going back to a number when I re-open the specified file. I'm able to insert rows before and after the SW generated part list but not in it.

Uncheck Auto update of BOM. Tools\Options\Document properties\Detailing
