For any engineers who do structural engineering for Log Homes, Structures magagine March Issue put out by Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) has several excellent articles. It gives more insite into the upcoming ICC code and gives some recommendations on the seismic response value R to use on log homes. There are about 5 related articles in this issue.
