Hi,

I got excessive stress near the bearing (roller) which is more than the allowable stress. The bridge I am modeling is an existing bridge. Thus, this local stress is not normal.
I tried to refine the mesh near the bearing but it doesn't work.
What is the solution to this kind of problem?

Thank you in advance.

First of all, you should identify the reason of this stress concentration. Then make sure that these parts are properly connected and that you account for shell thickness. The mesh in the second picture looks somewhat irregular, try refining it.
